How do I get the Host ID for an evaluation license?

 If you already have FlexLM software installed, run the FlexLM command:

lmhostid

If you do not have FlexLM installed there are different commands to run, depending on which UNIX platform you are using.

For Linux, run the command:

ifconfig

And send us the Ethernet HW Addr, which should be on the first line of output and will be a number like 00:11:23:7F:92:A0.

For Solaris, run the command:

hostid

This will return a number like 831d765a
