Actis Design is a supplier of software solutions and services used to advance the deployment of technical innovations. Technical expertise includes SystemC, C++. Actis was formed in November, 2001 as a spin-off of the software product and consulting services businesses of Willamette HDL, Inc.
Products
AccurateCTM Rule Checker and Rule Generator are static code analysis and debugging products for SystemCTM. AccurateC Rule Checker was introduced in June, 2001 as the industry's first semantic rule checker for SystemC . AccurateC Rule Generator was introduced on January, 2003 and is a companion product to the Rule Checker. The Rule Generator allows users to write User-defined Rules in C++ using API functions to access AccurateC internal design data.
Consulting Services
Actis Design provides a wide range of consulting services to high technology users and suppliers. Past projects include technical documentation development, custom software tool development, and testbench development.
Management
Joan Bartlett was the founder and President of Actis. She previously was Vice President and co-founder of Willamette HDL, Inc. Joan led the product development of AccurateC and Ten Minute Tutor in addition to managing consulting services. Prior to forming her own companies, Joan held engineering and engineering management positions at Tektronix, Inc., Pyramid Technology and Logic Automation (now a part of Synopsys, Inc.). She died June 24, 2011 and her main software developer, Nancy Ege, took over the company with business partner, Chris Cunningham.
